Joy to the World

While creating things, like this picture, I can more easily understand, though having only a glimpse, of the Glory God has in creating. The few things involved in the process of creating this picture reminds me of how awesome our God is in creating all of us in this universe...all that we know of and aren't even aware of yet.

From the action of picking some flowers outside my door, putting them in a vase, setting the vase by a window with a black canvas behind the vase, taking the picture and loading it into a computer, editing the picture by negating it (making dark images light and light images dark), and adding some text (Mother Teresa was a wise and self-less woman; always thinking of the needs of others)...all giving the photo a different dimension.

I particularly love how the faint light from the window was transformed to reveal the bright colors of a rainbow...reminding me no matter how dark life may seem at times, we must keep the love of Christ in our hearts lit...of His sacrifice so that we may live with Him now and throughout eternity. Like the dark days of Christ's death, those days passed to reveal God's greatest Light, His Son rising to save us.

"Joy to the world, the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King.

Let every heart prepare Him room,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!

Let men their songs employ.

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,

Nor thorns infest the ground.

He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found,

Far as the curse is found,

Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love."

(Joy to the World - written by Isaac Watts from Psalms 98:4)

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises."
